Cyberspace, space, and AI represent sources of new conflict in the world today. Of course, to take this measure, one must understand past conflict and for that reason a look at the history of war becomes of paramount importance. On this page, that comparison rests on a look at Napoleon’s art of war via the aids listed above, including two interactive maps that test the impact of naval power at this period of time, the Age of Sail. Determining the old and new naturally leads to projections about the future and what conflict may look like decades even generations from now.
